Welcome to Cascadia Roots. These Terms of Service govern your use of cascadiaroots.com and any purchase you make through our online store. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Online Store Use
You must be able to enter into a legally binding agreement in your location to make a purchase. You agree to provide current, accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure. You may not use the site for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or disruptive activity.
2. Product Information
We work to keep product descriptions, photographs, ingredients, sizes, and prices accurate. Because our products are made in small batches and displayed on different screens, color, texture, packaging, and appearance may vary slightly. We may correct errors, update information, or change or discontinue products without prior notice.
Availability is not guaranteed. Adding an item to your cart does not reserve it.
3. Orders and Payment
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Taxes, shipping charges, and the complete order total are shown at checkout. Payment must be authorized before an order is accepted.
An order confirmation acknowledges that we received your order; it does not guarantee acceptance. We may limit quantities or cancel an order because of inventory errors, pricing mistakes, suspected fraud, payment problems, shipping restrictions, or other legitimate business reasons. If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the amount charged for the canceled items.
Please review your shipping address before submitting an order. Contact us promptly if you spot an error. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once fulfillment begins.
4. Shipping and Delivery
Orders ship from Oregon. Available destinations, shipping charges, and delivery options are shown at checkout. Tracking information is provided when available.
Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. Carrier delays, weather, address problems, customs processing, and other events outside our control may affect delivery. International customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, taxes, or import fees.

5. Returns, Damage, and Missing Items
Because our skincare and body-care products are personal-use goods, we do not accept returns. If an item arrives damaged, is defective, or is missing from your order, email hello@cascadiaroots.com within 14 days of delivery. Include your order number, a description of the problem, and photographs when relevant so we can review the issue.
When a claim is approved, we may replace the affected item or provide another appropriate resolution. This policy does not limit rights that cannot legally be waived.
6. Product Use and Safety
Cascadia Roots products are intended for external use only unless the product label clearly states otherwise. Follow the label directions and ingredient information. Avoid contact with eyes, keep products out of reach of children, and patch test before broader use, especially if you have sensitive skin or known allergies.
Stop use if irritation or another adverse reaction occurs. Consult a qualified healthcare professional when appropriate, including before using essential-oil products while pregnant or nursing. Product information on this site is educational and is not medical advice. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use the site or place an order.
8. Intellectual Property
The site and its content—including text, product names, photographs, graphics, logos, and other branding—are owned by Cascadia Roots or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the site for personal, noncommercial shopping and informational purposes. Any other copying, republication, sale, modification, or commercial use requires prior written permission. No swiping our stuff.
9. Third-Party Services and Links
Our store may use or link to services operated by third parties, including payment processors, shipping carriers, social platforms, and other websites. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. Your use of a third-party service may be governed by its own terms.
10. Site Availability
We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site when reasonably necessary. We do not guarantee that the site will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, but we will keep trying to make the machinery behave.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cascadia Roots will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the site or products. Our total liability for a claim related to a purchase will not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be handled in a court with lawful jurisdiction.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms when our practices, services, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top shows the latest revision. Updated terms apply after they are posted, subject to applicable law.
14. Severability
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
