You might remember us as Crunchy Mamas, and we’ll always honor where we started. As our community grew, our name needed to grow with it. Cascadia Roots is for everyone who wants honest, plant-based skin and body care without the corporate beauty bullshit.
Cascadia Roots reflects who we are now: deeply rooted in the forests, rivers, and rebel hearts of the Pacific Northwest. The name is more inclusive and more unmistakably us, without losing our grounded, no-BS spirit.

Meet the Founders
Amber & Michael—partners in plants, punk rock, and honest skincare.
Cascadia Roots is co-owned by Amber and Michael, longtime partners in life, love, and rebellion against crap-filled skincare.
Amber brings warmth, wisdom, and a don’t-mess-with-my-family kind of fire. A mother, nonprofit badass, and fierce advocate for community care, she is the calm in the storm and the why behind many of our original formulations.
Michael is the industry pro and chaos-wrangling creative force. With a background in salon business, product education, and fathering five humans, he’s the one who says the quiet part out loud—then turns it into a product name.
Together, they built Cascadia Roots as a love letter to the Pacific Northwest, a rebellion against toxic beauty standards, and a commitment to making honest, plant-based products for all bodies.
